How to use
For miso soup, dissolve about 1 tablespoon (15-18 g) per 150-200 ml of hot dashi; Hatcho miso is firm, so soften it in a little warm dashi first. Its savory taste holds up to heat, so it can be simmered in dishes such as miso-stewed udon (miso nikomi udon), doteni and miso oden.
