Nagatanien's long-selling ochazuke mix in single-serve packets: seasoning granules with salt, sugar, matcha and kombu powder, plus crisp rice-cracker bits (arare) and nori. Sprinkle a packet over rice and pour on hot water for a quick, light bowl. The arare are made from glutinous rice.

How to use

Sprinkle one packet over a bowl of hot rice (about 150 g) and pour about 150 ml of hot water. The maker recommends hot water rather than tea, because the mix already contains matcha. In summer you can pour cold water instead for chilled ochazuke.
